The authorities of Canada have announced the seizure of 50 bricks of suspected narcotics earlier this month at the Blue Water Bridge.

According to a press release published online on Thursday by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) stated that Ontario resident Guo Bing Zhao, 52-year-old, was driving a semitrailer and reported at the Blue Water Bridge Commercial Operations in Point Edward, Ontario, on November 18.

According to the press release, Zhao was held for a secondary inspection and during the review border services officers noticed an
inconsistency in the weight of some of the boxes in the shipment.

Officials reported the boxes were inspected and found to contain 50 packages of suspected narcotics weighing around 50 kilograms total.

Officials caught the suspected narcotics and captured Zhao.

According to the release, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) London Detachment Border Integrity Team took charge of the suspect and the evidence.

Zhao was charged by the police with the transportation of a controlled substance and hold for the purpose of trafficking, both opposed to the Controlled Narcotics and Substances Act.
