The Dankery owner sentenced to 10 years

DENVER, Colo. – Special Agent in Charge Deanne Reuter in conjunction with the Office of the District Attorney, 4th Judicial District of Colorado and lead prosecutor Rachel Powell announced January 21st that Kristopher Fowlkes owner of The Dankery and Colorado Springs resident, was sentenced to serve 10 years in prison.

Five charged in El Paso for smuggling drugs and illegal aliens

EL PASO – Today in El Paso, federal authorities filed two criminal complaints charging five individuals for smuggling an estimated $5.4 million worth of marijuana and methamphetamine and 77 illegal aliens, announced U.S. Attorney Gregg N. Sofer, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Special Agent in Charge Erik P. Breitzke, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Special Agent in Charge Kyle W. Williamson, U.S. Border Patrol El Paso Sector Chief Patrol Agent Gloria I. Chavez and Big Bend Sector Chief Patrol Agent Sean L. McGoffin.

5 Sinaloa Cartel Members plead guily to trafficking charges in Operation Cookout

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The mastermind behind an extensive drug trafficking ring entered a guilty plea this week, and four other defendants either entered pleas or were sentenced recently to substantial terms in prison for distributing large amounts of fentanyl, heroin, and cocaine in Newport News and North Carolina.

Auburn man sentenced to 70 months for drug trafficking

CONCORD, NH – DEA New England Special Agent in Charge Brian D. Boyle and United States Attorney Scott W. Murray announced today that Leon Mandigo, 33, of Auburn, was sentenced on to 70 months in federal prison for drug trafficking.

Former Roanoke pharmacist sentenced for tampering with powerful narcotics

ROANOKE, Va. – Bryan Wade Lewis, a former pharmacist at Home Choice Partners in Roanoke, was sentenced yesterday in U.S. District Court for tampering with a consumer product, hydromorphone, that affected interstate commerce.

Jarod Forget, Special Agent in Charge of the DEA’s Washington Division and Acting United States Attorney Daniel P. Bubar made the announcement today.

Lewis, 35, of Roanoke, Virginia, was sentenced today to 12 months and 1 day in federal prison. He pleaded guilty in September 2020 to one count of tampering with a consumer product.

Mississippi man sentenced to 11 years for cocaine and money laundering conspiracies

EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. – A member of a multi-state drug ring will be spending the rest of the decade behind bars. Lendarious Hayes, 24, of Meridian, Mississippi, has been sentenced to 135 months (11 years and 3 months) in federal prison for conspiracy to distribute cocaine and money laundering conspiracy.

Two St. Louis men indicted for drug trafficking crime that caused death

ST. LOUIS – A federal grand jury indicted 25-year-old Cevone Weeden and 35-year-old Herschell Perkins on one count each of discharge of one or more firearms in furtherance of the commission of a drug trafficking crime causing death. The same federal grand jury also indicted Weeden on one count of conspiracy to distribute and possess, with the intent to distribute, controlled substances, including fentanyl.

Ten indicted for fentanyl trafficking

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A federal grand jury returned an 11-count indictment today against members of a drug trafficking organization, charging them with fentanyl trafficking and other related offenses, United States Attorney McGregor Scott and Drug Enforcement Administration Special Agent in Charge Daniel C. Comeaux announced.
