Former Bristol Resident Sentenced to 51 Months for Fentanyl and Crack Cocaine Dealing

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – DEA New England Division Special Agent in Charge Brian D. Boyle and Leonard C Boyle, Acting United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, announced that Elkie Crump, also known as “40,” 39, was sentenced today by U.S. District Judge Janet C. Hall to 51 months of imprisonment, followed by three years of supervised release, for fentanyl and crack cocaine distribution offenses.

Norwalk Man Sentenced to 10 Years for Third Federal Narcotics Conviction

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – DEA New England Division Special Agent in Charge Brian D. Boyle and Leonard C Boyle, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, announced that Domenico Sandalo, 46, of Norwalk, was sentenced today by U.S. District Judge Vanessa L. Bryant to 120 months of imprisonment, followed by eight years of supervised release, for trafficking cocaine and other drugs.  Judge Bryant also ordered Sandalo to pay a $5,000 fine.

San Antonio Physician Agrees to Pay $350,000 to Resolve Allegations that he Pre-Signed Prescriptions and Issued Prescriptions Without Appropriate Examinations

SAN ANTONIO – Doctor Hugo A. Rojas, owner of Hugo A. Rojas, M.D., P.A., and Family Clinics of San Antonio, has agreed to pay $350,000.00 under a civil settlement to resolve allegations he violated certain provisions of the Controlled Substances Act (CSA) and the False Claims Act (FCA), announced Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Special Agent in Charge Daniel C. Comeaux and  U.S. Attorney Ashley C. Hoff.

Two Newark Men Charged with Attempted Carjacking and Discharging a Firearm

NEWARK, N.J. – Special Agent in Charge of the Drug Enforcement Administration’s New Jersey Division Susan A. Gibson and Acting U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey announced two Newark men made their initial appearances today on charges stemming from a Feb. 22, 2021, attempted carjacking in Newark during which a firearm was discharged.
