Malgré des résultats considérables, il reste mesuré quant à la portée de son action notamment à cause de l’importance de l’offre et de la demande présentes sur le marché. « Je crois surtout qu’il ne faut pas penser qu’on va éradiquer le trafic de drogue« , a-t-il déclaré au micro de Dimitri Pavlenko.

La Thaïlande franchit les dernières marches de son plan de légalisation de la marijuana, après l’avoir autorisée à des fins médicales et de recherche en 2018. Mardi 25 janvier, le pays a annoncé qu’il retirerait le cannabis de sa liste des drogues, ouvrant la voie à la culture de la plante à la maison. Mais il faudra suivre quelques petites règles.
D’abord, il faudra avertir le gouvernement local pour être autorisé à cultiver de la marijuana chez soi, selon les nouvelles règles annoncées par l’office thaïlandais des stupéfiants. Ensuite, ces cultures maison ne pourront pas être utilisées à des fins commerciales sans licence, précise le ministre de la Santé, Anutin Charnvirakul.
