Et ça va forcer les gens qui ont une dépendance à commettre plus de crimes pour acheter les mêmes drogues à des prix plus élevés, explique-t-il.

Le spécialiste du marché de la drogue affirme que la saisie dissuadera certains criminels mineurs, mais que les grandes organisations criminelles trouveront toujours des moyens de continuer leurs activités.

Il faut trouver d’autres moyens.

Leesburg Men Indicted on Methamphetamine Charges

OCALA, Fla. –  A federal grand jury returned of an indictment charging Kenneth Wayne Pea, Jr. (39) and Travis Ramone Williams (37), both of Leesburg, with possession of 500 grams or more of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.  Pea is also charged with distribution of 50 grams or more of methamphetamine.  If convicted, Pea and Williams face a mandatory minimum penalty of 10 years, and up to life, in federal prison.

St. Charles Man Pleads Guilty to Multiple Counts of Drug Distribution

ST. LOUIS – Nicholas Trueblood, 26, of St. Charles, Missouri, pleaded guilty to four counts of possession with the intent to distribute fentanyl, heroin and methamphetamine. Trueblood appeared today before U.S. District Judge Ronnie L. White.

Trueblood and his co-defendant were primarily distributing narcotics in the St. Charles County area. They were arrested and charged after selling narcotics to an undercover detective with the St. Charles County Regional Task Force.

St. Louis Man Pleads Guilty to Charges Related to Drug Trafficking Ring

ST. LOUIS – Darryl Lennell Moore, 32, of St. Louis, pleaded guilty to two counts of conspiracy to distribute and possess with the intent to distribute a controlled substance, one involving fentanyl, the other involving methamphetamine.

Moore also pleaded guilty to an additional count of possession with the intent to distribute methamphetamine. Moore appeared Tuesday before U.S. District Court Judge Ronnie L. White.

Member of Narcotics Conspiracy Sentenced to More Than Three Years in Federal Prison

TAMPA, Fla. – Kris Ralf Salvi (27, Tampa) was sentenced to three years and four months in federal prison for conspiracy to distribute and possess with the intent to distribute fentanyl.  Salvi had pleaded guilty on January 21, 2021. In September 2020, Salvi and nine others were charged in this case. The remaining cases are pending.

L’équipage de l’USCG Cutter Tampa a passé mardi à Miami à décharger près de trois tonnes de cocaïne qu’ils ont intercepté dans la mer des Caraïbes au début du mois.

Le 9 avril, un vol de patrouille a repéré un «navire à profil bas» au large de Punta Gallinas, en Colombie.

À bord du bateau, ils ont trouvé 5 500 livres de cocaïne dans 87 balles. Trois suspects ont été placés en garde à vue et leur petite embarcation a été détruite car elle présentait un danger pour la navigation.

La cocaïne a été déchargée à Miami mardi

BUFFALO, N.Y. – U.S. Attorney James P. Rochester Man Sentenced to 60 Months for Participating in Methamphetamine Trafficking Conspiracy

CONCORD, NH – DEA New England Division Special Agent in Charge Brian D. Boyle and Acting United States Attorney John J. Farley announced that William McKay, 48, of Rochester, was sentenced to 60 months in federal prison for participating in a conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute, and to distribute, methamphetamine.

San Diego Man Sentenced to 188 Months in Fentanyl Overdose Death

SAN DIEGO – Jeffrey Alden Blair was sentenced today by U.S. District Judge Anthony J. Battaglia to 188-months in prison for supplying the fentanyl that led to the fatal overdose of 45-year old Derrick Hotchkiss, a long-time rugby player for the San Diego Old Aztecs Rugby Football Club. Through his plea agreement, Blair admitted that the fentanyl he dealt caused Hotchkiss’ death and that he knowingly sold in excess of 400 grams of fentanyl.

Jury Finds Pair Guilty on Drug Trafficking Charges

ST. LOUIS – On Wednesday, a jury convicted Oscar Dillon, 47, of St. Charles County, Missouri, guilty of drug conspiracy, attempted obstruction of justice and money laundering.

The same jury also convicted Michael Grady, 65, of St. Louis, guilty of drug conspiracy, attempted obstruction of justice and money laundering. The jury found Grady not guilty on an additional charge of witness tampering.

U.S. District Judge Henry E. Autrey presided over the trial, which lasted more than two weeks.

Pembroke Woman Sentenced to 129 Months for Methamphetamine Trafficking

CONCORD, NH – DEA New England Special Agent in Charge Brian D. Boyle and Acting United States Attorney John J. Farley announced that Nadine Jacques, 46, of Pembroke, was sentenced to 129 months in federal prison for methamphetamine trafficking.

According to court documents and statements made in court, in February and March of 2020, a cooperating individual made four controlled purchases of methamphetamine from Jacques in Suncook, Concord, and Dover, New Hampshire.

Georgetown Pharmacy to Pay $24,500 to Resolve Claims of Recordkeeping Requirement Failure

Columbia, South Carolina – Acting United States Attorney M. Rhett DeHart announced today that his office has resolved claims that RPh Now, LLC d/b/a/ The Medicine Shoppe of Georgetown failed to abide by recordkeeping requirements of the Controlled Substances Act.  RPh Now, LLC will pay $24,500 to resolve the claims and agrees to comply with heightened reporting requirements for a two-year period.

Leader of Mexico’s United Cartels and Others Charged in South Florida Federal Court with Importing Over 1200 Pounds of Crystal Methamphetamine

MIAMI – South Florida federal prosecutors have charged the leader of a notorious Mexican drug cartel and five others for their alleged roles in importing into the United States over 500 kilograms of Mexican methamphetamine. In the largest methamphetamine seizure in Miami-Dade County history, law enforcement agents seized the over 1,200 pounds of crystal meth before it ever hit the streets.

Two Men Arrested with 100 Pounds of Cocaine Stamped with the Nickname of One of the World’s Greatest Soccer Players

NEW YORK CITY – More than one hundred pounds of cocaine were recovered from a seventh-floor apartment in a two-building 17 story residential complex containing a gym, lap pool and roof deck, in Queens on Monday afternoon.  Investigators and agents arrested two individuals, and recovered one loaded handgun, and more than $200,000, in addition to seizing the 50 kilograms of cocaine, as part of an ongoing drug investigation by members of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, New York City Office of the Special Narcotics Prosecutor’s, and New York State Police.

Fresno Man Charged with Fentanyl Trafficking and Illegal Firearm Possession

FRESNO, Calif. — A two-count indictment was unsealed charging Nicholas Solis, 26, of Fresno, with possessing fentanyl with intent to distribute it and possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking offense, Acting U.S. Attorney Phillip A. Talbert and Drug Enforcement Administration Special Agent in Charge Wade R. Shannon announced.

According to unsealed court documents, on January 6, Solis illegally possessed fentanyl pills with intent to sell them as well as a firearm.

DEA Seizures of Heroin and Fentanyl Increase Across North Dakota in 2020

OMAHA, Neb. –Seizures of fentanyl and heroin made by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in North Dakota increased in 2020 with investigators seeing a 223 percent increase from 2019 in the two drugs combined.

Fentanyl, estimated at approximately 100 times more potent than morphine and 50 times more potent than heroin, was seized by DEA for the first time in North Dakota since 2016.  Found primarily in counterfeit pills, but on occasion in powder form, just two milligrams of fentanyl, or the equivalent of a few grains of salt, is considered a lethal dose.

Pasco County Meth Dealer Sentenced to More Than Ten Years in Federal Prison

TAMPA, Fla. – Jason A. Crowder (42, Zephyrhills) was sentenced to 10 years and 1 month in federal prison for possession with the intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine. Crowder had pleaded guilty on December 8, 2020.

According to court documents, on January 17, 2020, deputies from the Pasco Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at Crowder’s residence and recovered 325 grams of methamphetamine from a safe inside the home.

More Than Three Million Lethal Doses of Fentanyl Seized in Minnesota Last Year

OMAHA, Neb. –The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is reporting a 30 percent increase in fentanyl seizures in Minnesota for 2020, after investigators pulled 6.2 kilograms, or the equivalent of more than three million lethal doses, off the streets. Included in the 6.2 kilograms are more than 55,000 counterfeit pills, many laced with potentially lethal doses of fentanyl.

St. Louis County man sentenced to 10 years for drug and firearm charges

ST. LOUIS – U.S. District Judge Rodney W. Sippel sentenced Teran Martin to 120 months in prison today and ordered Martin to forfeit $23,488 and the several firearms law enforcement seized in the course of investigating the crimes charged.

The 27-year-old Ferguson, Missouri, resident had previously pleaded guilty to one count of possessing methamphetamine with intent to distribute and one count of possessing one or more firearms in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.
