Joint law enforcement operation results in major eradication in northwest New Mexico

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Federal, state, local and tribal law enforcement agencies last week teamed together in the Shiprock, New Mexico, area to conduct a marijuana eradication operation that yielded tremendous results.

From Nov. 9 to Nov. 11, the FBI led hundreds of officers in a large-scale, multi-agency law enforcement operation that took place at 21 farms and two residences on the Navajo Nation near Shiprock. The marijuana was housed in 1,107 grow houses, though dozens more were under construction.

Rochester man sentenced to 120 months for drug trafficking and gun offenses

CONCORD, NH – DEA New England Division Special Agent in Charge Brian D. Boyle and United States Attorney Scott W. Murray announced today that James M. Nesbitt, 44, of Rochester, was sentenced to 120 months in federal prison on Friday for participating in a conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and fentanyl and possessing firearms in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.

Multiple Defendants Charged in Federal Investigation that Dismantled Telephone Drug Hotline in Chicago

CHICAGO — Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Special Agent in Charge (SAC) Robert J. Bell announced that more than 26 individuals have been charged with various narcotics trafficking or firearms offenses as part of a federal investigation into illegal activities on the West Side of Chicago. As part of the investigation, law enforcement shut down a telephone drug hotline, according to a criminal complaint recently unsealed in U.S. District Court in Chicago.

Syracuse resident sentenced to nine years in federal prison for drug conspiracy and distribution

SYRCAUSE, N.Y. – Isidro De Los Santos, 33, a citizen of the Dominican Republic residing in Syracuse, was sentenced today to serve nine years (108 months) in federal prison for his convictions for conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute, and distribution of  heroin, fentanyl, acetyl fentanyl, and cocaine, announced Acting United States Attorney Antoinette T.

Operators of large-scale drug trafficking organization in Kern County face federal charges

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A federal grand jury returned three indictments against nine individuals on Thursday, charging the defendants with conspiring to distribute methamphetamine in Kern County, U.S. Attorney McGregor W. Scott and Drug Enforcement Administration Special Agent in Charge Daniel C. Comeaux announced.

Valley Stream man arrested for allegedly using doctor’s prescription pad to acquire thousands of opioid pills

MINEOLA, N.Y. – Drug Enforcement Administration, New York Division, Special Agent in Charge Ray Donovan and Nassau County District Attorney Madeline Singas announced that a Valley Stream man was arrested today for allegedly using a doctor’s prescription pad to acquire more than 13,000 oxycodone and morphine pills during a nine-month period.

Buffalo woman sentenced for selling cocaine

Guyanese national extradited to face cocaine importation charge
